Where did the royals find Prince George’s nanny? (The New York Times)

The New York Times has published an article exploring the training, hard work and dedication that goes into becoming a Norlander.
The piece was published both online and on page two of the Style section of the New York edition of the paper with the headline ‘Training Nannies to be Fearless’. This comes after The New York Times visited Norland in October.
In the piece, Principal Dr Janet Rose discusses the prospects offered to Norland graduates, the importance of raising the status of the nannying profession and the “organisation, patience and emotional intelligence” required to be successful.
Students were also interviewed for the piece. First-year international student Sarah (Set 46) from the US describes Norland as “everything I needed,” and her pride at wearing the uniform as a mark of trust and respect; qualities she hopes to take forward into her career. Third-year male student Joe (Set 44), from London, talks about his love for early years childcare and his outreach to local schools, where he encourages other men to join the profession.
