Lucy Krebs, Norlander and Deputy Head of Learning & Teaching and Student Engagement Manager, has had her research paper ‘Engaging with fathers on their terms: a father’s reflections on his role’ included in the master’s degree textbook Studying for an Early Childhood Degree published by Routledge.

Lucy’s paper focuses on recognising the importance of fathers when working with families and highlighting the fact that a father’s role is complex and commonly stereotyped.

Studying for an Early Childhood Degree is based on the practices of The Pen Green Centre’s Research, Development and Training Base, where Lucy completed her master’s degree.
